I have been fighting on-prem restores to GCP for weeks now, and trying to test the failures by creating new accounts to see if it was a permissions issue on a project or the permissions itself on the service account. The error that I keep getting when starting up a restore from Veeam is:
Type 'Google.GoogleApiException' in Assembly 'Google.Apis.Core, Version=1.51.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=4b01fa6e34db77ab' is not marked as serializable.
Now, this does not happen to an account that I created a while back that has been continuously failing with a seperate error (Restore job failed Error: Failed to restore to GCE: [import-image]: 2023-01-25T15:45:05Z Validation of network "projects/companyxxx/global/networks/default" failed: googleapi: Error 403: Required 'compute.networks.get' permission for 'projects/seegrid-it-dr/global/networks/default', forbidden.
Have hit a brick wall and have no idea where to go from here.
