Migrating my mysql app to cloud

I am a complete newbie and was wondering if this is possible?

I have searched the internet was was completely overwhelmed by information. 

I have created a VB.Net application that uses a mysql database. I have published the application as an .exe file. I would like other people in my company to use the application and was thinking of using the cloud. Is this possible and if so where can I get instructions. I have tried by creating a Google cloud account, but migrating my app and database is way above my head.
