Merging ideas in Fearure Ideas

Hi Community Moderators, 

I have noticed that two of my Feature Ideas have been merged, but I can't see any context around moving posts to merge ideas. Please add more information!

I believe this should be the good practice:  

If the criteria and context of merging ideas isn't immedately clear here in the forum it should be considered that the authour of the idea has not given conscent for their ideas to be merged. 

I hope all agree that the context of a suggested Feature idea can be completely different compared to similar ideas, especially when the similar ideas are unknown to the Feature Idea author.

Hi @moderator, 

We appreciate your inputs. 

We are currently merging similar features/ideas. In many cases even though the context (eg: education/enterprise) might be different but the ideas are same. However, going forward we will provide the explanation/context for the merging the ideas.

It would be very useful to have an option that allows me to download only the attachments from my inbox and sent files.
