Deleted Service showing up in Cloud Run and quota questions

Hello all,

I've been trying out the Cloud Run service for my startup's applications and finding the service very convenient so far. Unfortunately I've run into a couple of issues that I'm hoping to get help with.

Firstly, I deleted one of my services two days ago, but it's still showing up in my cloud run services tab. The status is shown as "Deletion in progress. Resource readiness deadline exceeded". This service no longer seems to be occupying a spot in my "Cloud Run Admin API instance per region" quota, but does still seem to be occupying 2 slots in my "Cloud Run Admin API Services per Region" quota. I have no other services deployed in this region.

In addition to this problem, my quota for "Cloud Run Admin API instances per Region" for europe-west2 is showing 3 for current usage despite me deleting all of the services in this region several days ago. I'm a little worried that these instances are still running in the background and I'm being charged for them. I've also noticed that some of the current usage of quotas in other regions is showing as 1 higher then the number of instances currently deployed (even when the max instances for that service is set to 1) - is this normal?

Many thanks,

Jamie

Hi @verify-finance,

Welcome to Google Cloud Community!

Based on the error that you provided when deleting your Cloud Run service, this requires Cloud Run engineering team assistance based on this documentation when delete operation is stuck on Cloud Run service as we don't have the right tools for this kind of issue. You may reach them through Google Cloud support.

You may also file this as a bug so that they could check this one out on their end. We don't have a specific ETA on this one but you can keep track of its progress once the ticket has been created.

Hope this helps.

Hi Robertcarlos, I was eventually able to get help from Google Cloud support. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
