Does Google Maps API retain the data i send it (for GeoEncoding api for example)

Hello all!,

i have to fill out a questionnaire for my company on all 3rd party apps/apis that we use.
For Google Maps API, they were wondering what data Google retains and for how long?
We use mostly the GeoEncoding API (but also the Driving Directions API as well) if that helps answer the above question.

I know Google Analytics says the max amount of time they store data is 26months as seen in below docs ...

For Google Maps API, is there similar info in their documentation that gives that timeframe that you gave? As I may need to prove this retention period to my higher ups.
