I am studying the Google cloud Architecture, Is the google cloud could integrate with the third party cameras, I know Amzon has KVS to handle the video for the third party camera, what is the google's solution? Do I miss something, Could somebody share me some information, very thanks.
Hi Sara - See if this reference architecture helps. Google's AI is far better than that of AWS. Google's streaming data solutions are also far superior.
Hi prfullkotecha
Thanks for your reply, from the architecture, We could see the video files are upload to the Cloud storage, does the Cloud storage care the video file's format(mp4,avi..)? Or Any format are supported by the cloud storage? And what the action the cloud do for that files, just save? or It will handle the video files like check the I-frame?
We want to know if the Google Cloud storage will do the action like AWS KVS(kvs for video clip and kvs webrtc for live streaming)? If not, what the solution for integrated with third party devices like cameras?
Thanks.
@Mateo_L: Google Cloud offers "video intelligence" API that you could easily incorporate into your solution. Google Cloud ML/AI solutions are best in the industry, by a long shot.
Check this page out for live streaming and this one for streaming.
Check out this codelab for using video intelligence API in Python.
Check out this qwiklab for hands-on practice of using video intelligence API for scanning user generated content.
Difference between a codelab and Qwiklab:
1. Codelab is free but requires you to use your own GCP account.
2. Qwiklab requires you to purchase credits, but offers pre-provisioned playground with just enough cloud resources for each lab. You can follow Qwiklab on LinkedIn and Twitter to grab their "free-credits" offers from time-to-time. Like this campaign.
