Issue in Creating a Google Cloud to register for free tier Account

I recently tried to register for a new Google Cloud free tier account? I am unable to register and have attached a screenshot.

I tried two methods: one with a debit & credit card and the other with internet banking.

In the first option (debit card), Rs. 2 was debited, but the transaction failed, and no reversal has occurred. I tried this twice on different days, losing Rs. 4 in total.

In the second option (internet banking), a popup displayed, but the action failed, and no gateway page appeared.

Despite trying for a week, I still couldn’t register.

Unfortunately, one major issue is that there seems to be no support or contact available from Google.

I was really frustrated to create a free tier account. I never faced any challenges while creating an account in AWS or AZURE.

Hello @sparuncloud  ,Welcome on Google Cloud Community.

This error is most probably related with issue either with your credit card or bank. Google have specified which credit cards and banks are available to act as payment source.

I saw this kind of cases many times here, so I've created feature request to improve this. You and anyone who is affected can click "+1". If number of "+1" will be enough, Google will speed up to implementing this.

Why is it that only Google seems to have an issue? If they can process the payment, why can’t they activate the free tier?

How is it that other cloud providers are able to offer free tier accounts without any problem?

A Year back I create a free tier account with same card.

Things changes, isn't? I'm not protecting Google's approach at all. For me is not clear this entire process of registering, but for now we can't do nothing more than waiting ( or trying to use different payment method.)

Yes, I noticed that also. I've tried to utilize AWS free tier and all went smoothly without errors. Maybe because my credit card is okay? Don't know. But basically entire registration process should be as simple as possible.

 

I am also facing the same issue and i have tried making cloud id from three different accounts but none worked i think this is some kind of a big that google needs to fix
