Issue with Privacy Policy URL Verification in OAuth Consent Screen

Hello,

I submitted my app for verification through the Google OAuth Consent Screen. However, I received feedback from the Trust and Safety team asking me to resolve the following issues:

1. "Your home page does not include a link to your privacy policy."

   • On my app's homepage, I have included a link to the privacy policy in the footer. Could you clarify where exactly this link should appear to meet the requirements?

2. "Your privacy policy URL is the same as your home page URL."

   • This doesn't seem correct because my privacy policy is located on a separate page. Clicking the "Privacy Policy" link in the footer navigates to a dedicated privacy policy page.
     Could you clarify if this is a misunderstanding, or is there something I need to adjust?

Hey there,

After doing some research, I found the issue, and it's now working for me.

Try removing the slash from the domain:

❌ Incorrect: (URL Removed by Staff)
✅ Correct:(URL Removed by Staff)

Hey @codedharmony I tried your solution on removing the slash at the end of the domain:

Initial URL (homepage): 

https://pro.500pratas.com.br

Privacy Police URL:

https://pro.500pratas.com.br/politica-de-privacidade

But the validation still are rejected, sayng that the URLs are the same. Any ideia on how to solve this?

Facing the same problem here. 
I do not have slash at the end of any of the links and they are both different pages.
