Hi @lwelch39,

Welcome to Google Cloud Community!

Sorry to hear that you’re getting spam emails from unrecognizable senders. It looks that the email domain of that sender is indeed associated with a Firebase app or website. Though this could’ve been done accidentally or abusively, there are several options to address this.

I’m not sure though if you have an existing Google Cloud or Firebase project. If so, then there’s a way to delete a project which will allow yourself to disassociate from anything related to Firebase or Google Cloud. Otherwise, deleting the Google account overall is another way, but this isn’t recommended if you’re actively using Google tools and services that will affect your account.

The best possible ways to address this is to submit a complaint through any of these methods:

  • Safebrowsing: Just in case the email contents contain malicious links that serve as bait for affected emails, reporting through this method will prevent most users from accessing the page.
  • GCP Suspected Abuse Form: This is a preferred reporting tool that brings complaints on any Firebase or Google Cloud related projects or apps that would enable the Google Cloud team to mark these projects as abusive and shut them down.

You can also browse through this page for better ways on how to block unwanted emails and suspicious senders.
