I could find no way to contact GCP billing to resolve my issue. All I got is chat bot/assistant, tutorials, and paid support options. I was willing to pay $29 for the support to talk to a human but it also required 3% of the bill (the amount of which I'm contesting).
I am a web developer and was trying GCP services. So I signed up for a trial with my personal card.I tried a service called "Integration connectors" but that service did not work, it threw an
error. The error was simply saying "could not connect" for both connectors.
I left a forum post about the issue and submitted a troubleshooting ticket.
Because I did not receive any response, I ignored the service (assuming it's unpaid trial)
and moved to test other services.
I had a glance at the bill today out of curiosity and saw $603+ charge for the "connectors service".
And even says it is forecasted to be 3.7k.
That was so shocking given I was only trying a service that didn't work and I submitted a ticket
for it. Also, I couldn't avail of the entire free trial period because my account was upgraded.
However, that upgrade was not intentional. There was a link following me everywhere suggesting that
I "activate full account". I didn't know that meant "upgrade" as the wording isn't clear enough.
Can someone from GCP Billing help resolve this unfair billing ?
