"Error: The email could not be sent." in Wordpress Deploy in Google Cloud

I have just installed Wordpress with Google Cloud but it says Wordpress can't send emails.

I am using Gmail for my corporate emails. What must I do to get my Wordpress install (with contact forms, passwords, etc) work?

Hi @japerezclick,

Welcome to the Google Cloud Community!

Try to perform the following troubleshooting options:

  1. Google Cloud Platform cannot send email through the normal SMPT through Port 25. You have to use a trusted third-party email provider. Follow this documentation to know more about sending emails. 
  2. You can also get in touch with Google Cloud Support if the above option doesn't work.
