BigQuery showing less "user_engagement" events

We are having an issue where BigQuery is not showing accurate "Average Time Spent" per user from 5th Aug onwards. Please refer to below screenshot. Until 4th Aug, we received pretty much the same data on BigQuery compared with Google analytics web dashboard. However from 5th Aug onwards, the time spent is shown less on BigQuery (compared with GA).

We also noticed that BigQuery has been showing less number of user_engagement events from 5th Aug onwards.

Would highly appreciate if anyone can explain this.
