Data Discrepancy - Search Ads 360 to BigQuery Data Transfer

Dear All,

We are using the BigQuery Data Transfer product to collect data from the Search Ads 360 platform to Google Cloud Platform.

Setup:

  • Data source: Search Ads 360 - Preview
  • Data collection started for February 2024 and is loading correctly into BigQuery.

Issue:

We have noticed a significant difference between the data in the SA360 platform and the data collected from the data transfer.

Objective:

To identify the source of the discrepancy between the data in the SA360 platform and the data collected via the BigQuery data transfer.

Details of the Differences:

  • The difference is only in the cost values.
  • The average deviation is plus or minus 4%, which represents a difference of approximately plus or minus 1,000 EUR between the collected data and the data in the SA360 platform.

Impact:

The collected data is not reliable and cannot be used for analysis.

Question:

Has anyone encountered a problem like this before? Any clues would be appreciated.

Hi @MioraSarobidy I've had some mismatch issues with BigQuery data transfer with Google Ads data, not exactly with SA360. Have you tried any other option? In my case I just moved to an external tool that lets me export my data to BigQuery and with that option at least I don't have any integrity issue. Could be useful for you as a workaround I guess
