Data set not pinned under explorer

Hi Everyone, 

I am having issues when viewing data set, the data set does show in the left bar automatically when I click view data set. Any help will be really appreciated .

From the screenshot it seems you did not expand small arrow beside project name.

Once you expand arrow head will be down and show all dataset

Hello, the expand arrow is only for pro-pulsar-347502, the project expand arrow i'm looking for is the one for the noaa_lightning dataset.

thanks for the reply. I got your problem now.

Copy and paste the below URL in your browser and pin the public dataset, then you will be able to see even you returned to your project as well.

https://console.cloud.google.com/bigquery?project=bigquery-public-data&page=project

I struggled with the same issue and your solution saved me. But what was the problem? Why was bigquery-public-data project not being pinned?
