Data Design involves organizing and structuring data to meet the needs of applications or systems, focusing on efficient storage, retrieval, and management. It encompasses components such as data modeling, database schema design, and data warehousing.
In contrast, Data Strategy is a high-level plan aimed at managing and leveraging data to achieve business objectives. It includes data governance, analytics, architecture, and security. While Data Design is more technical and targets data organization, Data Strategy aligns data initiatives with business goals to extract maximum value.
