How do I stop BigQuery crashing on Google Chrome?

I'm working through a Coursera Course and Google about data analytics.

It was fine to work through queries for a few days but now I get the 'Aw snap' page every time I try to 'create table' and other queries. How do I fix it?

It is code 11.

Hi @elksie5000 , try clearing up the cache or some plugin installed in your system might be interfering with it, try disabling it.

@ville_nahkuri that's exactly the issue I'm experiencing when trying to create a new table.  PITA!

Same problem here. I am also pursuing the coursera Google Data Analytics course, till few weeks back everything was fine and then suddenly creating tables has become impossible. Had been struggling with it from some time now probably 2 weeks. I also tried all the methods that I could find, clearing cache, cookies and even did chrome reinstalling but nothing worked.

I was experiencing this too. I tried lots and lots of things to no avail (cache, browsing data, private browser, disabling extensions, full macOS reinstall, network setting changes etc.) 

However, I think the most recent Chrome update has fixed this 😊

Good news. I had to use Safari!

I had a similar issue when trying to 'Save Query.' It stopped crashing after I updated my Google Chrome browser. You can do so by clicking the 'Update' button on the top right of your browser window.
