Huge delays in GA4 linked BigQuery data

Hi,

We're using GA4 in our app, and linked it to BigQuery so that we collect raw data there.

Normally, previous day data comes to BQ in the current mid-day. However, for the last several days last-2-days data doesn't arrive even in the current mid-day.

note: We didn't change anything in the integration.

Do you have any idea why could this started to happen?

Thanks

Hi, also experiencing a similar issue. Issue looks to have been prevalant starting June 2.

Hi @doganakdag @michael-lok

The limit for how many hits you can export from the free version of GA4 to BigQuery is 1M hits per day.

Please note that you have followed the correct steps to connect GA4 to big query for data migration. Here is a blog for help : https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/9823238?hl=en#zippy=%2Cin-this-article

Also, If you go above that(1M data migration) , Google will stop your pipeline.

There are only two solutions to overcome this that I know of.

  1. Upgrade to GA360
  2. Use Parallel Tracking

Standard properties have a daily BigQuery Export limit of 1 million events. If your property consistently exceeds the export limit, the daily BigQuery export will be paused and previous days’ exports will not be reprocessed.

Thanks!

Hi @doganakdag

You may also try third party tools like windsor.ai as a workaround. One can import GA4 data into windsor.ai account and export it into BigQuery.
