Without making any changes on our domain, big query suddenly stopped importing Workspace logs, and I got a cryptic error message when trying to run any queries ("the project company has not enabled bigquery"). The error makes no sense (BQ had been enabled for years, and you can only change settings or enable BQ at the project level), and it went away after giving myself BQ roles in addition to the project owner role I already had (and which, up until a few days ago, worked just fine). I don't see any changelogs that mention anything related to this changing.
This problem could have been brought on by changing the billing account, referring to a different project, or it could have been a Google-related problem.
The BigQuery API needs to be enabled for the project before it can be utilized, according to the error notice "the project company has not enabled bigquery".
It is advised to re-enable BigQuery API if your project was previously operating properly.
As far as I can tell, nobody changed the billing account, and the BigQuery API was already on — nobody turned it off. I had to add the permission to account which already had the owner role and which I was able to run queries on before.
which are the permissions please !!
