Transfer all Search Console data to BigQuery

I connected Google Search Console  to BigQuery and than connected the Lookerstudio to show GSC data.

However I cannot see the data before the day that I made connection. Is there anyway to see?

Apologies as I cannot replicate your data, but can you try modifying your date range in your report to the desired start date?

Possibly a good reference for your inquiry: https://support.google.com/looker-studio/answer/6291067?hl=en#zippy=%2Cin-this-article

Hello @nceniza ,

I tried to add a date-range control, but it only shows data for specific range.

As you can check on the screenshot below, there is no data before May 3.

But when we created this report, we did see data for March. What is the issue over here? Can we only see for specific date range? (such as last 2 months only?)

Also, there is our real question:

Like I mentioned before, I connected Search Console with Big Query on 24 Feb( around).
Than I created this report. Is there any way to see the data before 24 Feb?

@Mustafaayu

Unfortunately, currently there is no way to create a hhistorical data backfill  using BigQuery export. Thhis data transfer cconfiguration cannot be modified from BQ side.
However, when using Looker Studio connector (not BigQuery export) you should be able to see all your historical data from the day you have configured the Search Console.

Like on thhis report - I am using a direct GSC to LS connector and it is shhowing whhole my data.

Inn my BQ datasets I have only data starting when I manually set-up a connectionn between GSC and BQ.
A posiblle work around is writing a script and grab historical data from Api and merge with incoming streams to BigQuery.

Hope it helps

Hi @Mustafaayu when you connect Google Search Console (GSC) to BigQuery using the native connector, data only starts flowing from the moment the connection is established. Unfortunately, historical data isn’t pulled in automatically.

What Can You Do?

If you need data from before the connection date, here are a couple of options:

Pull Historical Data via the GSC API

You can use the Search Console API to manually request data for past date ranges, then upload it to BigQuery — either through CSV files or a custom script.

Use a Third-Party Tool

Platforms like Windsor.ai make it easy to connect to GSC and export up to 16 months of historical data directly to BigQuery. You can also automate updates and combine this data with other sources like GA4, Google Ads, or your CRM.

Hope this helps!
