Urgent: GCP and Google API Terms of Service Violation

Dear Community,

We are reaching out for urgent assistance regarding a Terms of Service (ToS) violation issue encountered with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google API. Our client recently noticed that the dashboards in Looker Studio (connected to GA4 through BigQuery) were malfunctioning, prompting our team to investigate further. Upon accessing the platform, we were greeted with a warning message indicating a violation of the ToS, resulting in temporary inaccessibility of the project.

Despite reaching out to support, we have yet to receive a response. We have submitted two appeals, spaced one week apart, from today's date. Unfortunately, we are still awaiting resolution or guidance on how to proceed.

Has anyone else encountered similar issues in the past? Do you have any suggestions or insights on how to address this matter? It's worth noting that our client has not subscribed to any paid support services.

Your assistance and insights are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Same case here. How have you managed it?

Hi Joe,

Thank you for your message and apologies for the delayed response. We managed to resolve the issue by reinstating the account that was used to create the Google Cloud project, which had been suspended for reasons unknown to us. Google support never responded, but we were able to handle it this way. Once the account was verified, BigQuery and the dashboard in Looker Studio started working again.

Thank you and good luck with your work!

Best regards, Alessandro

Hi Alessandro,

Thank you for response. We have also been able to regain access to the account after few months. Things are working but we got a message sticked at the top of in Cloud console "A potential violation of our Acceptable Use Policy has been detected for multiple projects that you own.". It seems that it won't be going away any time soon. And Support does not provide any resolution as well. Do you have this message sticky too?

Best regards, Joe
