DataStream adding new columns to include won't persist

What I need to do is to edit and include more columns in an existing table that already has pre-selected columns.

I tried to add those columns via source configuration -> select columns -> edit table columns selection -> save edit table columns selection -> save source configuration. But when I checked it again the columns didn't persist.

The worse is if I remove the columns from "Select objects to exclude" advance options and save the source configuration, the result is catastrophic. Most of the selected tables are unselected and the preselected columns from remaining selected tables are gone.
