Is firestore down?

Firestore has suddenly stopped working. I also can't load data from the Firebase web page, and I'm getting an error message that says, "An error occurred while loading the document."

I've been using it without any issues for a year, so I'm quite confused about this sudden problem. Is there an issue with Firestore in the Korean region, or could it be a problem with my project?

There have been no current reports of any downtime of Cloud Firestore, nor has it ever been down in the Asian region. You can check the Service health to make sure if the service is down or not.

There may be background services that are causing this error. I suggest that you open your Firestore in an incognito window. This way, all your browser extensions are disabled, as they might be causing the error.

You can check this Stack Overflow post as you might have the same problem. Most of their problems are caused by antivirus, adblockers, extensions, or daily quota.
