Alerts in Google Map

Hi Google,

Can we add alert/alarm in google map? For example I am traveling to Kolhapur, Maharashtra in bus or car. I want someone to notify me when I reach near by Satara.

Same way if this feature include in google map it will help user. Map will notify the user before few minutes that he/she is reaching to that place. User don't have to always check the map or start navigation.

We can give facility to notify before certain km or time. 

It will save mobile battery also.
