Blocked by Advanced Protection Despite OAuth Verification for My Gmail API App

Description of My Issue: I am trying to run an app I developed called "Auto Delete Gmail Filtered Emails". This app is OAuth verified for personal use (less than 100 users), but I am being blocked by Google's Advanced Protection Program.

Here’s a summary of my setup:

  • The app is OAuth verified.
  • The app has fewer than 100 users.
  • The app is designed to automatically delete filtered Gmail emails.

The issue:
Despite completing the OAuth process for personal use, I am encountering the following error:

  • "Access blocked: Auto Delete Gmail Filtered Emails is not approved by Advanced Protection."
  • Error 400: policy_enforced.

I have followed the verification process, but Advanced Protection is still preventing the app from running.

What I've Tried:

  • Ensured that my OAuth consent screen was set up correctly with all necessary links and information.
  • My app’s scope only requests Gmail API access for personal use.

Request: Can anyone help me lift the Advanced Protection block, or suggest a workaround that allows me to run my app while keeping Advanced Protection enabled?

Thank you!
