Cannot Get a Response from Google - OAuth API verification

Description

Our Google Cloud Project has been stuck in the OAuth verification process since May 9, 2025, and we haven’t received any update from the Safety Team.

I’m wondering if it’s really necessary to purchase Google Cloud Customer Care support to get this issue resolved, or is that just a way for Google to push their paid support?

Has anyone managed to get through the OAuth verification delays without buying Customer Care?

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Apply for OAuth verification on Google Cloud Platform.
  2. Await response from Safety Team.

Output

  1. There is no recent update from the Safety Team.

OAuth verification can take a considerable amount of time, particularly if your application requests sensitive or restricted scopes. Based on the documentation, timelines  may range from a few days to several weeks. Given that your project has been stalled since May, it's definitely past the typical expected timeframe. This extended delay suggests there might be an unaddressed issue; therefore, you should investigate further. You may want to check the project owner's inbox and spam folder for emails from the Trust & Safety API team with a subject similar to: Action Required - Your OAuth Verification Request. Also, make sure no mail filters are preventing these emails from coming through.
