Email about automatic OAuth client deletion is wrong, OAuth client is used every day

Hello,

Like the others, I just got an email about automatic oauth client deletion due to inactive client id. However, this is totally wrong. The oauth client is used every single day.

What is going on here?

Have you checked the email about Correction Communication that was sent on June 1,2025?

As mentioned to the email, there was an issue with our recipient list that caused some developers to receive incorrect information. This communication incorrectly included some of your OAuth clients that have not been inactive for at least five months, and will not be deleted .

A recent blog post was also published, which focuses on Usability and Safety updates to Google OAuth Platform.

Additionally, there is a relevant thread on the reddit forum that is similar to your concern.
