Gcloud Lab Cloud shell Error

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an error while working on a lab in GCloud Skill Boost. Whenever I attempt to execute a command in Cloud Shell, I receive the following error message:

ERROR: You do not currently have an active account selected.

I've tried the basic troubleshooting steps, such as:

• Authenticating with my Google account using gcloud auth login.
• Verifying the active account with gcloud config get-value account.
• Ensuring I'm using the correct project ID with gcloud config get-value project.
• Restarting Cloud Shell.

Despite these attempts, the error persists. I'd greatly appreciate any guidance or insights on how to resolve this issue.

Welcome to the Google Cloud Community!

Make sure that when using Google Cloud Skill Boost, you open it in a new incognito window. To do this:

1. Start a new lab
2. Right click the "Open Google Cloud Console", then select "open link in incognito window"
3. Input the username and password provided by cloud skill boost

Also, make sure that when using the lab, you only use resources or perform actions from the lab. If you deviate too much from the lab's instructions, this may cause your account to be blocked.

hi harsh , i am facing same of this gcloud auth login problem if you found a solution to this problem then please tell me how to solve it?
