Happy to share about new extension to Cloud Code Plugin starting from CC Version 2.3.0   

What's new here?  For the first time cloud modernization tools -  MCDC and M2C CLI - available to the Cloud Code developers community. This launch is part of our cloud modernization strategy focused on 1P tools and developers experience. This started with launching M2C CLI and MCDC CLI and the new extension adds automation and guidance around application replatforming tasks. Read more about the new extension to CC see here 

Users benefits: 

• Easily migrate applications from virtual machines to containers on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Provides a guided replatforming journey, technical fit assessment, and automated artifact generation.
• Supports application types such as IBM Websphere, Tomcat-based, Apache 2 Linux, JBoss or WildFly, and WordPress.

 

What's new here?

This started with launching new Migrate To Containers CLI and Migration Center Discovery Client CLI, and continues with the new Cloud Code extension that adds automation and guidance for performing application modernization.
