Verification of the Firebase Domains

Hello,

I'm seeing the 'Pending developer action' warning when I go to the OAuth consent screen of my project.

Please see the details of the warning that I'm seeing below.

Comply with domain verification requirements
Ensure that your application's domains have completed the Search Console verification process.

There are 3 domains listed under the 'Authorised domains' section. The first one and the second one are the domains auto-generated by Firebase and I have already verified the third one.

I've read that if I get in touch with the verification team and explain the situation, they understand it and verify the app but can't get a response from them.

It would be great if someone could help me with completing the verification process.

Best regards,
Serdar

Hi @serdarbuyukkanl,

Welcome to Google Cloud Community!

To verify your Firebase domains, you need to add a TXT record to your DNS configuration for each domain. Once you have added the TXT records, it can take up to 24 hours for them to propagate. Once the records have propagated, you can click the "Verify" button in the Firebase console to verify the domain.

If you are still having trouble verifying your Firebase domains, please try the following:

  1. Sign out of the Firebase console and sign back in.
  2. Refresh the Firebase console page.
  3. Clear your browser's cache and cookies.

Here are some additional tips for verifying your Firebase domains:

  • Make sure that you are adding the TXT record to the correct DNS zone.
  • Make sure that the TXT record value is exactly the same as the value displayed in the Firebase console.
  • Make sure that the TXT record is published.

If you are still having trouble, please contact the Firebase support team.

Hello @christianpaula

Thank you for your guidance on the domain verification issue. I'm having same issue and still having difficulty understanding how to add a TXT record to the DNS settings for Firebase auto-generated domains. Could you please clarify the process or direct me to a resource that explains this in detail?

Warm regards, Santa

Did you ever figure this out?
