Linking Docs & Dashboards in Explore UI

Hi Community,

Looking for the best way to provide links to documentation and related dashboards directly within the Looker Explore interface.

I'm considering creating dimensions to hold these links, but is there a more efficient or recommended approach? Any suggestions or best practices would be appreciated.

There are a few things I can think of here, but they are at the instance level and not the explore level.

  • Custom homepage - lets you set a markdown file as the default homepage. You could put any dashboard links or documentation links here.
  • Internal help resources - lets you set a markdown file as a help resource for your users. You could also put dashboards and docs here.
