looker api downlaod dashboard how to

We are wanting to download a looker dashboard straight to a local machine. I have this code that I think I'm suppose to use, we are bit of a noob at python and I don't really understand where I'm supposed to put my dashboard ID and filters at in this python script below. Can someone give me an example on where I'm suppose to put my information in?

Just to clarify, are you looking to download the dashboard data to your local machine in something like CSV's? Or as a PDF.. or something else? The script mentioned is a render task script for PDF download, but the code will look different if it's just the raw data that needs to be downloaded
