How to create a custom Drop down menu containing User Metrics

Hi there! 
How can I create a custom Drop down menu containing only ‘Total Users’, ‘Sessions’ and ‘Views’? 
the idea is offering these options for the report customers to select. My guess is I need to create a calculated field. However, I don’t know what syntax/formule I can write for this case. Any ideas?

I'm curious about your use case here. Are "Total Users", "Sessions", and "Views" metrics? What should happen when a user selects those - would it add/subtract metrics from the visualization?

Or are these different data values in a single dimension?

You might find parameters to be an interesting starting point. Depending on your use case, there's several ways you can implement the parameter to achieve your goals.
