GA4 has the metric Exits available to report on. However, this is not (yet?) available in Looker Studio.
To report on Entrances in Looker Studio, you can use Event Count of the session_start event as a workaround.
However, again the same doesn't go for something like a session_end event, which does not exist.
Does anyone have any ideas about a potential workaround while we wait for the Exits metric to be added to Looker Studio?
I am having similar issues with using Exit in Looker. Did you find a solution to this? @Sasch250
Anyone find a solution for this? Is Google trying to fix this? Seems strange that they would just not include a key metric that's available in GA.
I find it absolutely infuriating that Google have forced us all on to GA4 and yet the Looker Studio connector is missing critical fields like Exits. Do better, Google. Much better.
Late to the party, but I've come up with a new approach that calculates exits by subtracting referrals from views. Even though it's not perfect, I hope you find it useful: https://www.technicallyproduct.co.uk/analytics/calculating-exits-in-looker-studio-from-ga4-data-a-ne...
