We have an application that uses Looker (not looker studio) embedded so that users can view dashboards, explore their data, and create new content.
Some users are seeing the Looker -> Looker Studio connector and are wanting to know if they can use it.
Right now I think the answer is no? To use the Looker connector in Looker Studio you need to use an email address that (1) is tied to a google account and (2) is tied to a looker.com login for the instance their trying to connect to. Therefore there's not a way for embedded looker.com users to utilize the Looker -> Looker Studio connector.
Is this accurate? Or is there a way for embedded looker.com users to utilize the Looker connector or Looker Studio?
Yup, I agree! According to Enabling Studio in Looker: "Users won't be able to use Studio in Looker if they log in to their Looker instance by using secondary authentication."
