Email Not Receiving via WordPress on Google Cloud (Using Gmail API)

Hello everyone,

I’m currently hosting my WordPress (URL Removed by Staff) on Google Cloud and facing an issue where my site is not receiving emails, such as those from contact forms and user registrations.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  1. I’m aware that Google Cloud blocks port 25 due to security reasons, so I’ve tried setting up TXT and MX records for various email clients.
  2. I’ve also installed and activated the WP SMTP plugin in WordPress.
  3. I’ve tried configuring Gmail’s SMTP service, but it hasn’t solved the issue.

After doing some research, I’ve come across a potential solution: using the Gmail API with the WP SMTP plugin to bypass Google Cloud’s port 25 block. I’ve already looked at the following resources:

Has anyone here successfully set this up? If so, could you share a step-by-step guide or any tips? I’m really looking forward to resolving this issue.

Thanks in advance!
