If you want to install Fedora with a boot size of  250 GB  in a previous instance, you will need to follow these steps from your Google console:

  1. Stop the VM.
  2. Edit the VM.
  3. Detach the current disk, and then you will see a new button named (configure boot disk). Please click on it to start to configure a new disk with the Fedora image and the boot size that you wanted.
  4. Once you end the configuration, you can resume your VM instance.
