Issues with Google Crawling and Indexing of Redirected Privacy Policy Page

1.png2.pngHello,

I am experiencing issues with Google crawling and indexing my website's Privacy Policy page. Here is the setup:

  1. The Privacy Policy content is hosted as a static HTML file on an S3 bucket.
  2. I have set up a redirect from /privacy on my main domain (berakorean.com) to the S3 bucket's URL.
  3. The redirect works correctly when accessed through a browser, but Google Search Console reports issues with crawling and indexing this page.

I have already ensured the following:

  • The HTML file is accessible publicly and has proper metadata (<title> and <meta description>).
  • The S3 bucket permissions and CloudFront distribution are correctly configured.
  • I tested the page in Google Search Console using the "URL Inspection Tool" and submitted the page for indexing.

Despite these efforts, Google is still unable to properly index the page. Could you please provide insights into what might be causing this issue and how I can resolve it?

Thank you in advance for your help!
