My company had a hosted website with google, nvcomcorp.com. It is down and when i log into my account, there is no website and nothing in the trash, like, it has been deleted and all traces of its past are gone. waybackmachine shows it last "active"/"achivable ~ July 2023
Any ideas?
Hi @NVComm ,
I checked your domain, nvcomcorp.com and based on the dig results, it is no longer hosted in Google. Instead, the domain registrar is now under GoDaddy. The domain is still valid, however it is no longer pointing to a webserver that's why it looks like it's down and seems to be no longer accessible.
Check first if the server for your website is still up and running. If yes, check the IP address it uses and make sure that the domain points to the IP address of your webserver. You can manage these DNS records via the GoDaddy web management page, but you have to make sure you have an account with them. For more details, you can check this link.
Let me know if this gave you the idea and if this helps.
Thanks for the reply and the info!
The registrar can be different than the hosting provider, that is the case here. The registrar is GoDaddy but the host is Google. The web name nvcomcorp.com translates to IP 35.209.53.95 which is a Google Cloud IP located in Council Bluffs, IA. Thoughts?
