Permissions taken away and more

I have been attempting to migrate my website to another host. This has unraveled a ton of issues. The most current issue is that I decided to break down and pay for support, why that's necessary when every other host provided support free of cost, I don't know but, that's Google I guess.

As the Owner, Administrator and the sole person in control of my entire website, hosting and business, I have attempted to signup for paid support and have been told that I do not have permissions; which I have always had.

"You must be assigned Support - Support Account Administrator for the organization in IAM to continue."

Now, I have attempted to navigate to IAM and make sure I have the proper support, as I have always been able to do, and I apparently do not have authorization to view that section now.

"You need additional access to the organization: loveleephotos.com

This could be because you have insufficient permissions to access the resource, or because a Principal Access Boundary policy is blocking your access to the resource."

As mentioned, I am the only person in charge of everything and have always had full authorization across the entire platform. How do I get this back? Chat support is spinning me in circles and is of absolutely no help.

Update: I've tried to give myself "Service Agent Role", since I now have full access and it gave me another error, "Only service accounts can be granted ServiceAgent roles as only service accounts can be service agents.". How can I become a Service Agent Role? I  just want to purchase Google Cloud Console support. This is ridiculous.

Please help!

P.S. Google is the worst thins I've ever chosen to get wrapped up with for my business.

Hi @Lovelee,

Welcome to Google Cloud Community!

I know how incredibly frustrating it must be to be locked out of your Google Cloud Platform account, particularly as the sole administrator needing urgent support for your website migration. The inability to purchase support is due to insufficient Identity and Access Management (IAM) permissions within your Google Cloud project, not a limitation of the support offering itself. Your current account lacks the required roles to manage billing and support entitlements. Self-granting of these roles is not permitted due to inherent security restrictions within the IAM system.

Here's how you should proceed:

  1. Contact Google Cloud Billing Support Directly: While this doesn't directly address IAM, escalating to billing support might be faster. They can investigate why you can't purchase support and possibly trigger an investigation into the underlying IAM problem.

However, I can’t give a specific date as to when this will be resolved.

I hope the above information is helpful.
