Scheduled Snapshot logging

Hi.

I have had an alert configured to capture Scheduled Snapshot outcomes for quite some time and this has worked absolutely fine. That is, up until a few weeks ago.
With no changes made to the metric/logging, it appears that scheduled snapshots are no longer being captured.

I have gone back over the original documentation I followed: https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/disks/scheduled-snapshots#logging_and_monitoring

and nothing has changed in the documentation, and my setup remains aligned with this.

I have checked all manner of logging settings but I cannot find any evidence of problems in the configuration that would have randomly changed.
The snapshots run once p/week on Saturdays and the last logged event was the 7th.
Its worth noting, the snapshots are executing fine and these are readily available upto and including the 21st, it is purely the logging side that is absent of these records.

Any known issues or changes (that documentation doesn't yet reflect), or any suggestions on where to go looking as despite sinking quite some time into this, I am drawing a complete blank.

issue is with snapshots being not captured or alerts not being triggered?

If its with snapshot , please snapshot schedule changed recently and all disks are attached to it in Disk section.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. The actual issue is predominantly with the logging. Because it isn't being logged, the alert isn't firing (as this is of course based on the log(s) existing).

Snapshot schedules have not been changed since initial deployment. All disks are attached, and like I said, the snapshot schedule is executing without issue and this is reflective in the Snapshots blade. However no logs are generated as part of the scheduled snapshot execution.

I can see few changes related to logging and monitoring but cant say if these are related.

Appreciate the URL, however I cannot see any changes relating to logging that would effect the cloudaudit.googleapis.com%2Fsystem_event behaviours 😞
