Hello,
I am interested by the possibility of customizing Fluentbit logging for an application running on Google Kubernetes Engine Customizing Fluent Bit for Google Kubernetes Engine logs | Google Cloud Platform Community
The tutorial is very clear but it uses a rather old version of Fluentbit (1.9.2).
I am therefore wondering whether Cloud Operations for GKE always supports the latest version of Fluentbit. Can I also assume that I can choose any Fluentbit input of my choice (from my own Fluentbit distribution) as long as I use the stackdriver Fluentbit output to send logs into Cloud Logging?
Best Regards
/Vincent
Howdy Vincent and welcome to the community. I'll make an initial first pass ... looking at the article, what I see is that its a "tutorial" and supplied "as-is" as an Open Source sample. The direct link to the associated GitHub repo data is here. What I'd suggest is post a question through the GitHub issues for that repo. Looking at the list of currently open issues, I see that they seem to be triaged quite quickly. I also seem to see that the section of the repo is owned by this individual and looking at their GitHub history still seem to be quite active.
