Billing account

Hi everyone

I'm a computer engineering student and a i have to work with GCP for a project. My university gave to me a coupon to use on my personal google account, but i made a mistake activating coupon on my university google account where i don't have permission to create projects. Now I'm wondering if is there some possibilities to activate my university account as billing account even if it has a billing status as a student offered by university organization. 

I hope someone can help me, because none of my credi card is valid for google and i can't work with GCP.

Hi,

basically to be able to use billing account attached to your university acc, you must add you personal account to at least project level IAM. However, you said that you don't have power to create projects under university org, so adding your personal email will be pointless. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that this is not possible to have billing account at ORG 1 and use it as payment option at ORG2. What you can do atm, is :
1.Ask your university org admin to create project for you and attach your billing account.
2. Ask for another voucher and attach to proper account.
3. Billing admin can send a support case to Google Cloud Support Billing Team. Maybe they can reattach voucher.
