Bug with Markdown formatting

Hello!

I'm trying to format a documentation for my GCP alert with markdown and the documentation says that is possible to configure the doc with: "Ordered lists, indicated by an initial number followed by a period."

The pre-visualization before save the alert its working fine, however, after save, i lose all indentation of my ordering list as i show in the pictures below. is this a bug or a expected behavior?

Before save the alert in the pre-visualization:

After save the alert:

Hello @M4theus-r0ss1,

Thank you for contacting Google Cloud Community.

I replicated this issue in my test environment and observed the same behavior when there is a space between the Initial Number/Bullet Number and the Sentence/Period. The alert policy had shown the expected behavior when there is no space between the Initial Number/Bullet Number and the Sentence/Period

However in both the scenarios the resulting output had shown the expected behavior. Please note that the same doesn't apply for unordered lists. This is an expected behavior as the output resulting in the notification channels are markdown formatted.

Note: Markdown formatting may not apply to all notification channels.

Thanks & Regards,
Manish Bavireddy.
