Issue with "Requested entity already exists" Error in Google Cloud Console

Dear Google Cloud Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I am encountering in the Google Cloud Console. Specifically, I am receiving the following error message: "Requested entity already exists" when attempting to create a new resource. The tracking number associated with this issue is c7529662670100427.

Despite the error, I have thoroughly checked my project, and I cannot find any existing entity with the same identifier or name that could be causing this conflict. I have also verified that no such entity exists in any other projects associated with my account.

I have attempted the following steps to resolve the issue, but without success:

• Cleared the cache and cookies of my browser.
• Tried to recreate the entity in incognito mode and in a different browser.
• Reviewed all projects to ensure that the entity does not exist in another project.

Given that these steps have not resolved the issue, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in identifying the root cause of this problem and providing guidance on how to proceed.

Hello @Zharyssova  ,Welcome on Google Cloud Community.

What type of resource you've tried to create? Also, did you've tried to check by either resource type or display name, whether resource already exists by using Asset Inventory? Searching by Asset Inventory is more handy imho.

I've tried to create "Client ID for Android". 

I've remember now that previously I've deleted this client id for Android with same entity name but in other project. This project then also was deleted completely. I've requested a delete on 29.11.2023, and our project was deleted completely after 29 Dec 2023 as google support informed us. 
But now even after a half a year of time entity doesn't seem to be deleted according to the error that I am now getting.
