Looking for licensing

We are a customer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, planning to implement SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO, PP, PM, QM, HR, and CRM) as part of our migration from a legacy system. We are interested in understanding Google Cloud’s licensing options for SAP and request your support in creating a Bill of Materials (BOM) for this project.

Specifically, we would like to know:

1. The available licensing models (e.g., BYOL or Google Cloud-integrated licensing).
   
   
2. Recommended infrastructure specifications (compute, storage, networking) for our SAP workload.
   
   
3. Any region-specific considerations for Saudi Arabia (e.g., compliance, latency, or data residency).
   
   

We aim to align this implementation with best practices and would appreciate a detailed proposal or consultation to discuss further. Please let us know the next steps or if you require additional details from our side.

The important concepts about running SAP on Google Cloud is provided in this documentation - SAP on Google Cloud. This includes the infrastructure, the deployment and migration of SAP landscapes to Google Cloud.

Bring Your Own Software and License - SAP runs on Google Cloud under a bring-your-own-license (BYOL) model.

With the BYOL model, you must obtain your SAP software licenses from SAP or an SAP reseller, and ensure that you are in compliance with SAP's licensing terms and agreements. Google Cloud does not sell or otherwise provide licenses for SAP software.

To receive support from SAP, your SAP deployment on Google Cloud must meet SAP certification requirements and you must be subscribed to one of the required Customer Care plans:
