From autopilot to standard cluster

Hello community, was developed a autopilot cluster and we want to change it to standard mode, in order to manipulate deamonsets and other kubernetes components, in order to fine tuned to our use case.
How can I do that? Or is it recommended to create a Standard cluster from scratch? I would prefer to use the cluster that i already have.

Google Cloud has an article related to a scenario similar to yours. I recommend reviewing it first - Prepare to migrate to Autopilot from Standard. If you have any questions afterward, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss it further.

You'll need to create a new cluster, but can you provide a few more details on what you need from Standard mode which is not possible on Autopilot?
