Autoclass on existing buckets

Hi,

I really like the autoclass option for buckets, but it works only for new buckets. Is there possibility, that it will be enabled for existing buckets in reasonable time?

We have huge amount of data and copy to new bucket will be time and resources expensive.

Hi @Lukaaashek,

Autoclass cannot currently be enabled on existing buckets. You must enable Autoclass in the Choose a default storage class for your data when you create the bucket.

You may create a Feature Request in this link. You can track the progress of the feature request using the link I have provided. Please keep in mind that the issue has to be analyzed and considered by the product team and I can't provide you an ETA for it.
