BUG: We are charged for a ssd we cannot remove because it is "connected" to an not existing vm

After 3 weeks of chatting with a support bot, a really bad one, I'm trying to fix this issue maybe over here.  Three weeks ago we removed a VM from our account but the disk was not removed. Removing the disk is impossible as the admin says it's still connected to the removed VM. We tried removing the disk using the API and the frontend but receive errors everytime saying it's still connected to VM. 

The disk costs us 12 euro's a day now, we cannot use it and google support is an absolute hell. The bot is just repeating to remove the VM which we already did. Anyone here who know's how to fix this?
