Batch Job Max Parallel Tasks

The maximum number of parallel tasks for a job is 1k.

I'm sure there are sound reasons for this limit, there been any consideration to increasing it? Currently we write scripts that launch multiple jobs but would be nicer if these could be logically contained under one job and we didn't have to bother.
