Cannot enter 6 digit pin

I created a VM and want to connect using Chrome Remote Desktop.

It's asking for a 6-digit pin, but when I tap on my keyboard, it doesn't enter anything so I'm guessing it's why I'm unable to connect remotely too.

The digits are not displayed for security reasons, but if you tap enter after typing the desired code, you should be able to login with it.
